The Riyadh season is a series of events that happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The General Entertainment Authority launched it in 2019, under Vision 2030. The festival spans over October till March and brings so much to look forward to. There are concerts, sports tournaments, art exhibitions, food, themed zones, and so much more. The main purpose of this initiative was to showcase modern Saudi Arabia and boost Saudi tourism. 

Riyadh season is for people of all interests and ages. From sports lovers to foodies, there’s something for everyone. Several zones are set up featuring different activities. For example, the Boulevard World offers international cuisines and cultural experiences from around the globe. Riyadh Season 2025 starts on October 10, 2025 with a spell-binding opening ceremony. How Many Zones Does Riyadh Season 2025 Have?

1. Beast Land

Beast Land is the most anticipated zone of Riyadh Season 2025. After all, MrBeast himself is setting it up.  The area spans over 200,000 square meters and is packed with the gold standard of fun. It will have 27 thrilling rides, 40 restaurants, and interactive gaming inspired by MrBeast’s adventurous style. If you seek competitive games and adrenaline rush, this zone is a must-visit. 

2. Boulevard City

Boulevard City was the first ever zone announced for Riyadh Season 2025. This zone will host major concerts, theatrical performances, and global events in venues like Boulevard Riyadh Arena and ANB Arena. There will be 19 one-of-a-kind experiences, 80 restaurants and cafes, 14 plays, and 8 sporting championships. Boulevard City is where the energy of Riyadh truly comes alive. This is why it’s a must-visit destination for every festival-goer.

3. Boulevard World

Boulevard World is one of the flagship zones of Riyadh Season 2025. It is designed to showcase global diversity. It’s like you enter this zone and gain powers to teleport. This is because it features pavilions from different countries such as Egypt, France, India, Africa, Levant, etc. This year, three more countries have been added to Boulevard World – Indonesia, Kuwait, South Korea. You can enjoy themed streets, international cuisines, VR rides, and so much more. 

In Boulevard world, there will be around 40 rides and experiences. You’ll be able to visit 1,700 stores, and more than 500 restaurants with local and international cuisines. All in all, there will be 31 different experiences to explore, including an escape room, cable car ride, and a floating market. 

4. Kingdom Arena

Kingdom Arena is a state-of-the-art multipurpose stadium built to host major global events, including concerts, sports tournaments, and international shows. It will be the venue for the WWE Royal Rumble 2026, marking the first time this iconic wrestling event takes place outside North America. With a capacity of over 40,000 spectators, advanced sound systems, and retractable roofing, Kingdom Arena stands as a symbol of Riyadh’s transformation into a global entertainment capital.

5. ANB Arena

One of the most happening venues of Riyadh Season 2025 is ANB Arena. It’s a versatile indoor venue designed for large-scale events. The lineup is really exciting with Six Kings Slam tennis tournament, the Riyadh Comedy Festival, and many other live performances. It has cutting-edge acoustics, luxurious seating, and immersive lighting for an unmatched spectator experience.

6. VIA Riyadh

This luxury mixed-use destination has become one of Riyadh Season’s upscale zones. It is located in the Al-Hada district adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton. VIA Riyadh also offers valet services, shopping assistance, personal concierge, and will be hosting Ana Arabia this Riyadh Season. 

7. The Groves

The Groves is a seasonal area located in the Al-Rafiyah district. It has scenic landscaping, a lake, dining worlds like Vida Vera, Zama Zulu, Hawanim Groves City, and Khawaja Yanni. It also features seven new restaurants, 16 shops, five theaters, and 25 amazing shows. There’s also a dog park, theme restaurants, live music and more.

8. The Boulevard Flowers

Bouledvard Flowers is one of the most breathtaking zones of Riyadh Season 2025. It will span over 215,000 square meters with more than 200 million blooming flowers. It will truly be a feast for the eyes. After all, visitors will get to see magnificent sculptures and artistic displays. The highlight will be the three Boeing 777 aircraft turned into floral art installations. It’s a vibrant escape you wouldn’t want to miss.

9. Aroya Zone

Riyadh Season 2025 is not limited to just land. This year, it is debuting in the waters too! The Aroya Cruise features 14 cruise destinations, 29 restaurants and cafes, 20 entertainment zones, and ten spa and fitness facilities. It will be launching with the festival on October 10. Be ready to cruise across the Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, and Mediterranean. What’s more, the Boulevard World Lake will be turned into ‘AROYA Lagoon’. If you love the sea, this one is for you. 

10. Riyadh Zoo

The Riyadh Zoo is located in Al-Malaz and the tickets are free. It’s a must-visit if you want to experience the ultimate of wildlife. It is huge with a capacity of up to 12000 visitors. There six sub-zones where there will be live shows, entertainment, and lively experiences. For 2025’s Riyadh Season, it has been redeveloped to accommodate over 1,600 animals from 170 species. It reopens in November with so much to explore like “Croc Cave,” Bird Zones, and farm-interactions.

11. Al Suwaidi Park

Want to have fun with family under a budget? If so, Al Suwaidi Park is a must-visit zone. The entry is free and it offers a multicultural experience for all ages. In an open-air setting, it features cultures from 13 different countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Palestine, Pakistan, Philippines, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. There will be a lot of entertainment, food, and art. You’ll get to attend concerts by international stars.

This is an adventurous boat ride that carries 20 passengers at once. What makes it so exciting? Well, it will take you up to a 20-metre ascent before plunging dramatically into a splash pool. Amazonia Awakens opens Sat, Oct 11.
